Change Work Hours

Description

This script does not prompt for user input. It changes the work week to values that are coded in the script.
It is a simple example of how to data in a .ganttpv database can be changed using a script.

How to Use

If you are going to update the work week hours, use Edit Work Week script instead.
The script is located in the _Examples directory in the Scripts folder and does not appear in the Scripts menu.

How It Works

The change is specified using a python dictionary. The change includes a Table name and Row ID that together specify which row in the database should be updated. The rest of the dictionary consists of Column and new value pairs. Data.Update applies the change to the database. Data.SetUndo provides a message for the Undo menu.
